Moving a sink

Moving a sink

Postby Betty » Sat May 09, 2009 8:02 pm

Hello,
How easy is it to move the location of a sink. At the moment mine is in a corner of my kitchen and I'd like to move it about 2 feet to the right.

Thanks
Betty

Moving sinks is very easy - my wife takes ours on holiday with us every year!

You can move the drain. Cut the pipe where it enters the wall (below the drain trap).

Attach a 90 degree elbow joint, making sure to keep the flow of the pipe downward (to keep wather from gathering in the pipes), to the pipe entering the wall, and the other end to the drain with the proper connectors.
